Edward Foster 20th August - 18th October

Preview Thursday 20th August 5-8pm

Edward Foster is a professional artist who lives and works in Lancashire. This artist’s work is collected throughout the country, and is often featured in various national and local media. His highly stylised work is a reflection of the way he perceives the landscape he travels to.

“A major theme of my work is nature and its spiritual role in our ever changing climate. For me the spiritual connection between man, animals and the landscape is endlessly fascinating. I see shapes everywhere in nature – from silhouetted branches broken into triangles, to the curved backs of deer silently running through archways of trees.”

“Edward Foster undoubtedly possesses the technical prowess and high production values required of a successful contemporary fine artist. He is a deeply sensitive man, producing artwork that is colourful, surreal and unique.”
